Getting Back on Track

Hey, it’s been an embarrassingly long time since I wrote anything and I have literally gotten off track.

Last time I posted, I mentioned I was starting some new courses for the Summer or July-August holidays, as it’s actually known in these parts. Alongside my full time job and the other side projects I have, I was confident I would be consistent and actually keep up with my content calendar. Boy, was I wrong.

We all know life happens but you know, deep down I knew I had bitten off more than I could chew.

So, I’m just popping in here to check in and what my updated plans are.

Course Update

The courses were and still are great (I’m still in the middle of one with an assignment due Monday coming). I’ve been having a great time with the new knowledge and unfortunately didn’t have much time to write for my blog.

Check out my green thumb below. My agri-growbox class was the best. I feel like I can grow my own food in a smart way and my garden would actually be productive.

Technology Fails

I also dropped the ball unintentionally with the YouTube channel, a noisy soul. I started that it to make passive income. It seems like almost all my technology decided to fail me, at the same time, over the past two months. My cellphone decided it was no longer holding a charge and then my laptop decided it had enough of me and would never come back on again.

I was using the MacBook Pro and it was awesome for creating my 3 hour long videos for YouTube. My windows computer still works, of all things, thankfully though, but it is no way in the same league as the Mac for making the videos I need, just saying.

So, I am in the process of getting a new laptop, the MacBook Air, and waiting patiently for it to be back in stock on Amazon, so I could get back to making videos. If Amazon takes too long, I might just have to bite the bullet on the Apple site.

New Income Ideas

On another note, I’ve decided I wanted to get into mentoring or coaching persons who want to build an online store or blog. I’m currently working on those plans. So some other things are in the works to help with creating multiple income streams.

Along with that, I had been working on my software-as-a-service solution, since the beginning of the year, and had hopes on blogging about that sooner, as another income stream. I’ve hit some time bumps as well with that, but that’s something else to look out for.

Me, Being Random

I have finally decided I want to leave my full time job. My job in particular is so demanding and I really feel I can do so much better. My projects, my dreams all fall by the wayside and my job really is the biggest “time sucker” standing in my way. Well, leaving my job is probably another story, but in the mean time, stay tuned for more on my other income pursuits and how my journey might help you with your own plans.
